My old wheels on my Gen 3

    was able to get new tires and installed the wheels I have my on Gen 2 to my Gen 3

    on my gen 2(sold the car)

    i'm surprised you didn't get rubbing in the rear of your Gen II. (mine did with 225's... they do ride really nice though) your offset must make the difference....

    when those wheels were on my gen 2 I was using 215/45/17......

    i figured you probably have plenty of room on your Gen III as there is a lot more wheel room. (or so it seems by everyone pics... it's been a while since i saw the car in person)

    not much data on this yet as I have only 100+ miles on these wheel/tire combo but I'm expecting 2-4 mpg hit on these tires - michelin pilot sport a/s plus 225/45/17 (on my gen 2 when I traded it in it has about 50k miles and the lifetime mpg was 47.2 using goodyear ls2000 215/45/17 on these same wheels)

    .....rear needs 10-15mm spacers and fronts 5-10mm.....
