    That can only be a good thing. Most things come from race cars and sports cars (like adaptive suspensions, active stabiliser systems and I guess our lust for horsepower) so a hybrid sports car can only mean good things for hybrids. (e.g. the ability to regenerate under hard braking or to use the battery as a temporary overboost)

    was it a nightmare? A porsche that sounded like and performed like a prius.

    The electric boxter is interesting. First if they get rid of boxter engine they need to change the name;) But porsche must see tesla as taking away part of their turf. Many people on waiting for an roadster might be very happy buying an electric porsche. Especially with $7500 of federal money, a $70K electric porsche could sell well.
