A nuclear power plant runs on the thermal energy generated by nuclear fusion, The steam is only a method of transferring the thermal energy from the nuclear reactor to the steam turbine.

Maybe it runs on that non-flammable H2 mentioned earlier that was in the Hindenburg.:D

There's a few negative side effects they are still trying to work out. Bombardment of vehicle occupants from the "energy source" by alpha, beta, and gamma rays has so far resulted in rapid development of cancer in all vehicle occupants. They're still working on this one. They think the solution is to insert a 5 foot thick wall of concrete between the "energy source" and the vehicle occupants.

This is really simple. You just have to think 'big picture.'

The Shell Game all-electric car carries on board a relatively small HV
battery, say ~4KwH. It is for short range operation; maneuvering in
parking lots, getting from secondary roads to homes, etc.

The Shell Game's infinite range driving comes from inductance cables
imbedded in every major and secondary roadway across the nation.

Installation of the cables will be accomplished at virtually no cost to the
consumer/tax payer as they will be piggy-backed on the pipes of the
National H2-OMG Distribution Network which we all know is going to
constructed in the very near future. It will be hand-dug by volunteer
corps made up of the upper-level management of the banks, investment
houses, etc, that received bail-out funds a little while back.

Bend over, yesterday's future is about to happen... again.

Petroleum jelly will be provided gratis by BP.
    Don'tcha know, they really care.
They say so on TV every day, so it must be true.
