    This has GM written all over it. $5 million ? Really, just $5 million? Sounds more like a PR stunt to me than a serious investment.

    Agreed, $5 Million is a joke...heck, the $50 Million Toyota put toward Tesla was tiny by their standards.

    I was going to say that $5,000,000 is a rounding error to GM but that's giving it too much credit.

    5 mil to GM may be miniscule. But 5 mil to the startup may be about all they can handle in the first increment of GM funding. GM has 10,000 boneheads to answer for, but this may or may not be one of them.
