Hymotion Depth of Discharge

    What is the depth of discharge for the Hymotion system before it automatically turns off?

    If I remember correctly Hymotion uses about 98% DOD. I know it was a lot but just dont remember the exact number.

    98%?!?!

    That would destroy the pack in no time. I doubt that, or at least I hope it is wrong.

    Actually A123 cells are really good cells. There is data on the Thundersky cells that were taken down to 100% DOD over 500 cycles. Of course they were discharged at .3C but they held up great. And since A123 is a better battery and only going to 98% is still with in specs and safety.

    I'll send an email off to one of my contacts to see if I can get the right number that way we have it.

    Right but, still... When you pay $10k for a battery pack, I would expect it to last more than 2000cycles which would require more limitations on the DOD. Unless these LiPo4's are magic I am just not getting it.

    But these are the same cells I am planning on using on my eventual converison so hopefully that is it :)
