    Sad, but. a lesson to be learned. Never stand in front or behind a moving vehicle. Always walk in the direction of the rear of the vehicle. If car is backing up, reverse this rule and aim toward front of vehicle. The same rules apply when driving. Never assume the driver sees you when he is backing up.
