    Just a little tidbit ......:

Like the GEN II car and unlike normal GEN III cars, it seems the PHV Prius has a CAN bus attached HV batter ECU that resides at address 7E3. (Incidentally the same as the Gen II car.)

It seems the PIDs it uses are not the same as a Gen II car, so you can read out SOC and other info from it using the XGAUGEs already developed for Gen II.

It also means all the battery related XGUAGEs won't work. (Right now AMP and Traction Batt Temp.) Also SoC and Batt voltages probably won't work (when they can be read with the SGII.)

Good to know. How did you figure it out? Did you get your hands on a PHV Prius?

Some information was given to me ... Sadly I didn't get to see one in person.

We need all the information we can get from the prototype PHV Prius. If you have a ScangaugeII and get a hand on PHV Prius, please work with Adrian.

His spreadsheet is full of valuable knowledge. It would be great to add support for PHV Prius in there.

I was only able to confirm that XGAUGEs like AMPS didn't work in the PHV. I think you'd need a bit more than ScanGauge II to really get the best info out of the demo.
