Maybe we can meet up near the Hwy 65 to I-80 interchange and caravan down there. I assume the Pacific northwest delegation will be piled up into one Prius. :)

After the expo you should all buy milkshakes together too and hold hands in the park.

The Brookfield's Restaurant parking lot on Taylor right off the Eureka I-80 interchange would be a good place to meet.

Or would could find your car in the parking lot and find out if the group is strong enough to pick up your car and drop it into the Bay. :)

Hmm good point. Maybe we'll just take you hostage and force you to buy all of our milkshakes and put you in the middle of our circle while we hold hands in the park. lol

    Hi guys.
The official hotel in Richmond and pricing for rooms should be announced late tomorrow.
I'll be sure to post it here. It's a newly remodeled and has a pool, bar, and free coffee. Yum!

    You said that. :)

Gas could be split 3 or 4 ways, and you could probably share a room.

Regarding the pool, keep in mind we are talking about the Bay Area in October. Temps in the 50s-60s is not my idea of swimming weather. lol

Dang! I thought I read that average high was 72 degrees in October with the first part of October warmer than the last part. Average low of mid fifties. Well, if nothing else there is always the outdoor whirlpool.

I assume the pool would be heated. It's not like you'd have to break the ice before getting in.

California in early October can be very pleasant, especially for someone from Michigan. ;) Right on the bay, though, it's likely to be foggy and cool for at least part of the day.
