    Looking forward to the LFA Hybrid (or at least an FT-HS).

    Because kids, teenagers, college students (the next generation) who are at a phase in their lives where they dream big about their futures will get excited about these HYBRID super cars! That's why.

    *did you notice that the word "HYBRID" is in there.
    Oh, and celebrities that appear in magazines and so forth, aka trend setters (not for us engineers and scientists, but for the masses), will be driving "HYBRIDS."

    That's why I care. :welcome:

    Why? The name. Porsche owners often feel THEY'RE it. Lamo's think THEY'RE it. Heck, often I see GM's with bumper stickers saying, "I'd rather push a GM than drive a Ford" ... or maybe the name brands are visa versa, if it matters. Point is, fan boys are every where ... and the fans of Ferrari are no different. Even if a $375,000 Lexus super-car is way better than their Ferrari;

    http://priuschat.com/forums/lexus-hybrids/81301-375-000-lexus-lf.html

    . . . . . they'd STILL rather drive their Ferrari ... hybrid or not. Loyalty doesn't have to make sense.

    Do you think little Timmy, sitting in the passenger seat of his mom's minivan is going to say "WOW" when you drive by in your Prius and remember that car for a long time and aspire to want one of those, or do you think the Porsche 918 Spyder or Ferrari ENZO just might grab his attention a little bit more and fill a space in his dreams? And, let me ask you, since he IS going to get inspired by the fancy super car, would you rather it be 7.0 L V12, or would you rather it be a HYBRID ? (fyi: the Porsche 918 gets 200hp from electric motors. now, that's something that little Timmy can say "WOW" about)
