Please let us know how it works (listening to radio while GPSing etc), FM performance etc etc...

Looks nice - I am wondering if this is the same as Rosen (reviewed elsewhere). The picture from their website looks like a real Toyota - with their own screens superimposed.

That's what Rosen did - it looked exact, but once shipped, it does not match the pictures (function buttons are missing).

Also, just FYI, TPMS only works if you buy their sensors, receiver (at least that's what I heard). If this is tightened up, it may be a very nice piece... Who services it?

Looks cool, but their website is slower than a snail.

Was the documentation in English or Engrish?
    Did you do the install?

This product is quite relevant to my interests...having "lost" my touch screen moving from the G2 to the G3 Prius.

Does this unit replace the MIC of the Prius with a better mic?

How about some actual pictures of the front with shots of the various screens? How long does it take to boot up?

installed myself -- it was a breeze for a novice....will post up pics tonite...

manual is in english but its pretty useless

bootup time is pretty quick...10 secs maybe?

just replacing the headunit provided a HUGE boost in sound.....even with stock speakers!

oh, and did I mention the steering wheel controls work perfectly with ZERO delay??!?!?? YES!!!
(I have a II with no bluetooth steering wheel controls just radio)

Thanks for sharing! I'm interested to get this unit too but can you share some more in depth review of the unit? Ease of use, functionality, pros and cons, etc...

the unit boots up with the FLYAUDIO logo initially...you can change this to Toyota or whatever you want, but I haven't read up on how to do so yet...its not important to me. After bootup, the normal 'agree' screen pops up but it goes away before I back out of my driveway (can't recall if radio sound comes thru while waiting for the screen to go away). Unit automatically brightens and dims according to whether your headlights are on or off...you can also set it manually or without the "headlight check". Amp power is advertised as 45w per ch at 4 ohms but doesn't mention THD...no matter...it sounds loud and clear and way louder than the OEM II radio. I actually bought a Sony XM554ZR 4 channel amp to use but I'm selling it because the internal amp sound is so good.

Mainly I listen to radio and my iphone thru the interface which again sounds wonderful. No artwork displays but artist, track, album, time....you can shuffle and repeat play.

Radio is straight forward liek any other radio but does have RDS to display artist/song/station.

I've only tried 1 DVD and it works fine...you can select 16:9 or 4:3 or full.

I've just used the navigation 2 times and had no issues...audio is adjustable versus the radio volume. Supposedly you can use any GPS software.....but the one it comes with is fine for me, tho I'd love to see Garmin on this unit.
GPS Navigation - You choose the software

Most GPS systems lock you into one software program and don't allow the option to upgrade to different platforms. FlyAudio comes standard with high definition maps, but allows you to choose any of the major software solutions on the market. Whether you choose Garmin, TomTom, iGo8, or any other GPS software, you can be sure that FlyAudio will support it. Maps are stored on a 4 GB mini SD card which makes it easy to add and upgrade whenever you like.

I have yet to even touch the bluetooth because I'm in the process of getting a new phone and don't want to re-do everything. If you are really interested in the unit beyond my review I'd recommend looking thru the clublexus thread.... Automax Service presents the Fly Audio Group Buy!!! - Club Lexus Forums

probably, can someone point me to a good, CHEAP camera?

Also -- I'll try to take better pics showing the texture of the surround trim...its not an exact match but its close enough and looks great.

sounds like a very good unit for the price plus the oem look. i was looking into the kenwood excelon nav system for about the same price but the reviews suck. users were complaining about some bugs and lagginess. looks like we have a winner if this FLYAUDIO really works seemlessly w/o any lag or bugs. although, i gotta see it in person. good thing i'm local. thanks for the nice write up!

I also bought my camera on EBAY (takes 8 days to arrive).

Ask the seller if it has 'distance' lines on the display. This is a very nice feature (last night I had to pull into a very small spot - and it helped immensely).
