Prius V to scan for use in video game - LA/OC

    Hello Prius Owners,

    My name is Kevin Malling and I am Executive Producer at ACME Digital Content in Long Beach, CA. Our produces 3D computer graphics models of cars for use in TV commercials and video games.

    One of our video game clients has asked us to source, scan and model the 2010 Toyota Prius V for their next game. I am posting on the Priuschat site in hopes that I can locate a Prius V owner in the LA/Orange County area that might be interested in allowing us to scan their car.

    I searched Forza Bugatti on youtube but found nothing of your work. Can you provide the watch?v=???? code? I'd do it but I live a few hours away.

    Once again, useless post. Is that why your post count is so high? posting crap everyday? Yeah I noticed your location and your car before I replied the first time. You don't have the right car or at the right location yet you had to reply with useless crap. And what are you? 12? I haven't heard anyone using "Bra" since "Airborne."

    kmalling, that's an interesting video. How long does it take to scan the car?

    cproaudio, thank you for your relevant response. A car takes 2-3 days to scan depending on it's size. The Prius will probably be a long 2 days.

    Where in CA are you?

    OOOoooooo gen3 Prius in the next Forza Motorsport....? Or maybe the next Project Gotham racing so we can drift it around turns for kudos points....

    I would like to see a Prius on the games the kids has...

    Drifting... wellllll...


    My son thinks an Evo will beat a Corvette because of the games... and while I agree the shots of the cars are really great for making the game feel more realistic, it does kinda cloud what could happen on the real roadways with any particular car.


    I would play against him in a Prius on the game... well, when he comes over to play a game that is... I usually have something for him or me to do during the daylight that doesn't involve sitting in front of some Playstation, or Wii...

    We have found a car to scan. I can't share which game it will be in but I think it will be released late next year. Many thanks to those of you that waded through the useless posts to express interest or share relevant comments.

    I think it's great to add a Prius to a video game. (Adding a supercharger and a handling package could be fun, too.) Please let us know when you can announce the release date.

    Sorry for the crap you had to put up with. It was a simple enough question, by someone new to the community, that should have been answered with more class.
