    I have 2010. II

When im on appointments i stick my briefcase onthe rear seat. So when I get out of the house, i either have to doubnle click my fab to unlock th rear door or oen front door and push unlock button in car to unlock rear door. i was hopingI could just open the back door as iwalk up to it, but not an option???

Is there anything I can do to get this setting?

Also I don't have an auto trunk open, how much does his cost to upgrade to this, and im considering an auto engine start. Can this be added in as well to my existing basic fab, and what are te costs for all of these?

Better to go to dealer, or 3rd party?

i think you can change your settings so all the doors unlock when you open the drivers door. check your manual.

Why open the drivers door? I do what you describe all the time. As I'm walking past the drivers door I just touch the handle in passing. Beep lets me know that the rear, drivers side door is open and I open that door first to put purse, parcels etc in before opening the drivers door.
My car is set so that the driver's handle unlocks all the doors as mentioned above. I never take my key out from the bottom of my purse. I hardly ever see the thing.

i don't know if you can add sks to trunk. might be possible but probably difficult and expensive. there is a thread somewhere about it.

ok it looks to be that it needs to be programmed by my dealer, i guess ill stop in, cause its a pain in the but to have to ue 2 steps to unlock it. I just tryed it, if i touch the driver side door it only unlocks that door. :(

I would like to add the auto trunk release option, im suprised it doesn't have tht, woner how much they will charge for that. And totak it a step further; auto start button.

Has anyone upgraded to theses options?

programming the doors is in the mamual. the manual is in the glove compartment. but if you got a few bucks to burn take it to the dealer. remote start is probably a few hundred quid.:)

Are you typing from am iphone/cell phone? I ask because your proofreading is terrible.

As mentioned, you can program the option to have the SKS unlock all the doors at once yourself, it is in the manual which I am sure you have.

You cannot easily add the SKS to the trunk.

If you want remote start (I think this is what you mean by 'auto start button'), the dealer can install it but be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars. Also, keep in mind, the remote start from Toyota starts the car but once you open the drivers door it cuts the engine off. Once inside, you'll need to restart the car again. I find it to be counter intuitive, but that's how Toyota decided to design it for some reason. (And Honda as well as that's how my friend stock remote start works in his Civic.)

My car is set up so that I just need to touch the back of the drivers door handle and all doors including the back door unlock. This lets me put my stuff in the back seat without touching the keys and without opening the drivers door.

I programmed something to do with the locks with the key fob based on a sequence in the manual and I think it was this but I can't recall where it is in the manual.

I do recall thinking that that some owner programmable things read in other parts of the manual as though they were only dealer programmble.

Does anyone have the remote start, how do you like it?
I don't like how it cuts off as you open the door, kinda defeats purpose.

Sorry about the typing this computerkey board sucks, and its new! HP.

I've looked in the manual briefly, Im going to have tolook again. I went to toyo, it seems like only 1 out of 5 service agents know anything. they are always giving me bad info. Like I can use a 150 w inverter for my computer. It kept blowing the fuse. ibought a 75 w inverter. My other v6 chevy impala does well with th 150winverter.
Now they are telling me the door unlock isn't adjustable.

    i hate reading manuals :)

    Thanks
