Also, have to agree with another poster - the battery operated AC is very cool (no pun intended). Great that it is completely separate from the engine.

While researching my new Prius, I did not realize it used a smart key and push button start. Now, I'm so hooked, that I get angry with myself when I get in the car and forget the smart key as I'm already conditioned not to have to carry keys! I'm just an old dog who has definitely caught on to this new trick:rockon:

I like it, too. One of those things in life that seem a stupid waste of effort until you use it and then it's like "Wow, this is just awesome.". Kind of like how many people see tivo/dvrs. They think it's ok until they use one and then they cannot live without.

 

How affordable it is compared to the Volt and the Leaf...

It's no contest for me, my favorite feature is averaging over 50MPG.

My second favorite is the radar controlled crusie control, it works well on my daily commute.

Just got my Prius V + ATP / Silver on Monday...

 

The fact that the engine shuts down when it is not needed. When I drive our Odyssey (rarely) it really bugs me that it keeps running while sitting at red lights!

 

PWR mode. without this I wouldn't even buy a Prius.

 

LOL. Me too, except I forget to bring the key with me because I've completely forgotten about needing a key. My Prius key just hangs in my purse. I've forgotten what it looks like. Keys seem so antiquated now.

 

Bidog, my list also, and after I would include:

Regenerative brakes - I make sure to hear that nice electrical whine every time when stopping - like music to my ears.

 

Coolest feature is that it brakes for me when coming up to a red light. It scared the hell out of my friends when I tell them watch what happens if I don't push the brakes.

 

I'm picking up my prius next week. I'm surprised no-one mentioned park assist.
