There were advertisements for the Nissan Leaf drive event this weekend on KNX1070 all day yesterday and today ... I'm sure it's filling up fast if it's not already full.

I've heard celebrities tend to visit certain Starbucks there. I hung out for a few hours at one of them but didn't see anyone I recognized.

Hyo and Rae: What's your planned schedule? I actually might be able to make this and be a passenger/help drive but I'd have to a postpone a planned trip I have by a few days (to allow enough prep time for that). :decision:

I'd imagine Hyo would drive to Rae's place and then take Rae's car from there to Richmond. I could drive from my area to Rae's.

What day are you planning to leave from Rae's and return? Plan to do Gray's Harbor -> Richmond, CA in a day? Return drive in a day too? Is it only you two in the car, so far?

"Detouring" to Malibu would be nuts, IMHO. We'll have our own Leaf drive in November at Southcenter Mall, in Tukwila.

 

Actually, they changed plans. They are going to put me on chemo again (different drugs) before the surgery so I may be able to go after all. I just may not feel well.

Ohh no. You are going to miss me. Although it may be a good thing because I may look like this ...>

cwerdna: I am picking Hyo up at the Lacey train station on Thursday the 7th... driving down in 2 days - hopefully couch surfing at F8L's on Friday. Have a room for Saturday night at the event, then Hyo has some tentative plans for Sunday (not Malibu, we discussed that!), then heading back Monday for a 2-day trip back up to drop him at the Lacey train station Tuesday afternoon.

There is room for you!
