What mode do you usually drive in? I normally have it in Eco or Normal, it's much more pronounced in Eco, but I still feel it in Normal. It's like a slight stumble as the ICE fires and engages...

F8L does not have the ECO and PWR modes like the Gen III has. If you ease down on the accelerator, especially in ECO and even in NORMAL, there is a delay before the ICE fires. Either press harder on the accelerator or, even better, put it in PWR mode if you want the ICE to fire off immediately from a stop. This will get rid of the slight hesitation you are feeling.

If you haven't tried PWR mode, give it a try if you want a quick start off of the line.

Hey just researching Prius changed my driving style.

I now turn my engine off- if I'm stuck in a drive-thru.

I used to think Pulse and Glide was a Blender setting.

My tires are 3 psi higher than the manufacturer recommendation.

I'm driving the highest mileage vehicle I've ever owned...and still I am haunted by the fact that the engine remains running at stop lights.

I'll never get you bastards out of my head......

Harmony between Man, Nature and Machine?

Well Werner Herzog said: " I believe the common character of the universe is not harmony but chaos, hostility and murder. "

Try settin that to folk music...
