The first 5000mi on the car, I have been getting a consistent 46mpg (according to the HSI). But now after upgrading to the Cusco front strut tower bar and TRD rear sway bar, my MPG has been increased to 50.5-51.1 (almost 5mpg increase!)

My acceleration and commute has been the same as before. but...

better suspension = less braking during turns = less fuel consumption?

    what do you guys think?

I wouldn't doubt it. rrolff has determine that adding mud guards and a head unit improves FE by running tests in a wind tunnel.

Weather hasn't changed much here in So Cal even though it's fall but if you were running the AC more often in summer and less now, that has a big effect on MPGs.
