    I just wanted to post up some recent pictures taken the day after Green Drive Expo - Richmond.

    A big thanks to MarinJohn for taking us out and a big I'm sorry for leaving both of our sandwiches in the boat. It's not going to smell nice! :(

    hyo silver, RaeVynn, MarinJohn, myself and of course Jackson (the mascot), went out for a sail during Fleet Week in the San Fransisco Bay. We left dock in Sausalito then took a spin around Angel Island!

    Tom, it's kinda hard to get pictures of the boat while you're on it. :cool:

    Yes, we all had a wonderful time. Even Jackson was smiling. I was dubbed first mate and got to learn the ropes and improve my clearly insufficient knowledge of knots. With patient instruction, I had a much more successful stint at sailing. Sadly, my wife's not at all keen on buying my half of the house so I can get my own boat. :)

    Here are a few more shots.

    'Fleet week' was interesting. Huge planes flew very low and nowhere near the normal flight paths, while the Blue Angels played all over town. An hour of military showmanship probably burned more fuel than I could possibly use in a lifetime.

    Having been only mildly seasick twice, I can sympathise. (Anti-nausea pills are one of the very few medications I will take readily) But that little tidal bore on flat water? I've been through bigger waves in a canoe. You must have it pretty bad. Or were you commenting on the cinematography? :rolleyes:

    Yes, the video was awful, I admit it.

    It's a tiny little camera that also does video. I'm highly excitable, and don't focus on just one thing, but insist on trying to film EVERYTHING all at once!

    Mea culpa.

    I think, however, it did nicely catch a little of the fun we were having, on such a beautiful day.

    I get seasick on porch swings and rocking chairs. I made the mistake of watching Rene's video without taking my Scopace (scopolamine) first.

    But I love sailboats. :(
