That's unfortunate, and not normal. Do you suffer from vertigo or something similar, maybe inner ear problems?

That it did. I need to learn to be more comfortable around cameras, though. Do you think less shy would be safe? :D

    Re: R

I've only ever experienced vertigo once or twice*, and I'm not aware of any inner ear problems. However, some people do get seasick easily. Charles Darwin was seasick the entire 5-year voyage of the Beagle. And the famous admiral, Lord Nelson, got seasick every time he went to sea.

If there was an actual cure, I'd give just about anything for it. So far, Scopace is the best thing I've found. Better dosage delivery and flexibility than Transderm Scop (the patch), but the same drug.

    * The only really severe vertigo I've ever experienced was the result of alternobaric trauma as the result of wearing Docs Vented Proplugs earplugs while scuba diving. They are supposed to be safe for diving. I only ever used them that one time, and never again.

Me too. I'm not photogenic and don't mind telling camera wielding hounds to aim the other way. BTW qbee, your advice on teak deck preservation was right on, last year and many thanks. My Pacific Seacraft Orion took 6 months and 2X the purchase price to bring back to life, but to rescue such a sexy dame was a pleasure. The pleasure continues when I get the privilege to take such magnificent guests on a tour of my favorite corner of the world.

Hey Airport, at least we could go in all directions instead of just N/S! Or is your plane powerful enough to top the Sierra?

There were only a few witnesses to overhear F8L declare his full intention to make next year's sail the third year he (and Hyo) will have graciously consented to place their lives in my hands!! This is good news to all of us who value F8L as a friend and fellow PC poster.

Sure, the day was perfect and the water almost flat (considering this IS San Francisco Bay where I have come close to meeting Davy Jones more than once over the 35 years I have dared to challenge Poseidon on that body of water), but we takes what we gets and makes the most of it and we did.

    Thanks for the photos!
