After comparing different options for in-dash nav headunit i have decided to order Kenwood 7160. I saw in some thread a link to backup camera that i am not able to find. Anyway can somebody suggest a cheap backup camera that can show distance line without sensor and easy to mount?
Thanks in Advance. I will post my reason to select 7160 and pictures once i receive that and i get it installed most likely next week.

E-bay. Got an OEM Style for late model Camry. Works fine with distance lines. I had to do a little mod to fit it in the slot in the rear door but that was just to eliminate water from entering the rear door.

Looking at that rear 'door' area, water is allowed in there anyways - it is not a tight fit - so I think there is no need for modding. I left the small space open. The Camry cams 'snap in' to the existing hole. I added a bit of hot-melt for good measure....

The Camry cameras work great - and cost like $40 delivered (takes 1-2 weeks to get). Ask if they have 'distance lines' built into the display - it's a very nice feature....

since y'all brought it up...found Camry Cams for like prices and used Prius Cams for $200+ range. Is this a supply/demand thing? Realize the back panel is not sealed so fairing the hole is probable not required. Will I need to drill up the mount holes? Close up pictures of Camry camera installation on Prius anyone? Thanks.

If there is a new model year of anything they will try to get most amount of money for it even though it is exactly the same unit for an older model!

Yes the panel is not sealed but up here there is so much crud on the roads in the winter, every bit helps. Also if I did not fill the hole someone could have probably yanked the camera out.

There is a slot (covered with an insert) for the camera on all models.

Here is some pictures of the install I did.

The cheap cameras people are getting from places like ebay for around $50 use a CMOS sensor.

The more expensive cameras, $100+ use a CCD sensor.

There is not much of a demand for a relatively expensive CCD camera that only fits a limited number of cars.. Supply and demand. You can buy a generic license plate CCD camera for around $100.

The Camry cam has a very good picture. Cost is around $40 delivered from China (takes 1-2 weeks).

Mounting-wise, it snapped into the existing hole - though I added hot-melt (no drilling).

Fishing it through the rubber boot between door and car is a different story - quite the bitch to do - use a good lube...
