    I was wondering about the thoughts of the crowd when little facts get given I guess...


    Ya know, starting with his name...

    The fact he is a loony and how he developed into one...

    He started other fires in the days before he hit the mall there...

    And where the hell was Paul Blart... I mean, it was the Roseville Galleria, come-on... I have seen em there... where were they for this...



    And now... $55 million in damages later we hear the sprinklers weren't on... Did all of the vendors in the building get informed of that little tidbit...

    Totally speculating on this one :D: did the criminal know about the emergency systems in the buildings... was there an inside person telling this fella that he needed to do it now and then go get some more drank...

    I doubt that it's anything that dramatic. The perp is a screwed up nut case that was refused psychiatric help.

    There should be an interesting story about the water being turned off. Probably some clueless person trying to prevent water damage.

    Galleria management and security is seriously flawed. They were the ones that were hassling people over talking to strangers in the Galleria last August.

    The only good thing about the Galleria fire is that it covered up news of a 30acre fire that occurred on the same day on one of my nature Preserves.

    Sorry, Man, but I can't see where you started a thread. I can see when something is removed (like a post was removed from the top thread) and when a thread is moved to the Garbage Can (a forum only we can see) the last column reflects that.

    I heard something on the radio that said the water may have been turned off during the fire too... Can you imagine the stink when this gets to the folks that lost their business inventory... and were now forced to try to clean up what they have left to sell during the time of year that they make profit...

    I still haven't been by the galleria yet. Last I saw on the news, Piggee was admitted to a mental institute.

    Has anyone looked up his Facebook page? I checked it out and the guy just shocked me with what he posted on his wall.

    The frau and I scoped out a. piggee's FB page... he isn't a normal person, but he also is quite "sub-culture" in his musings and rants...

    While I do agree he isn't a mental giant... and I believe his medication routine and his own self medication are co-factors in what happened... I think he needs to be institutionalized for ten years, then re-evaluated for release.

    Yeah, I heard about this story a few days ago. Talk about nuts. I'd never heard of anything like this before (fire at a mall due to a nutjob and then firefighters not being able to go in due to fear of a bomb).

    I feel really bad for the affected businesses, workers and hit to local tax revenues besides the community itself.

    A few people I know have family members or friends that were essentially out of work without income due to the fire. Keep in mind that most people working at a mall are not well off enough to weather a month or two without a paycheck. It is just so senseless. I think Piggee should be forced to pay those people back in some way. Instead of keeping him locked up 24/7 just chain him to the trees in these people's yards and make him graze down their grass every summer! :D
