I've done that before, too. More than once.

Sometimes things just get to be too much and I give myself a time out.

I did that a long time ago.

 

There's an option for participating in the Fred's House of Politics forum. That's separate from Fred's House of Pancakes, which I believe is always on.

 

Most people have enough sense in person to stop when the discussion is about to get to the spitting match stage ... on the internet where the insane rule the asylum, there is the opt-out box for FHOP.

 

Once I realized that every single post in FHOPolitics can be boiled down to "Our team rules, your team sucks!" I left without a second glance.

 

You have that backward: our team rules, your team sucks.
