Cleared my headlights today and put on an s2000 antenna. Next up is rain visors. Should I paint the wheels black?

Hey Flux, that looks great! Love your grill, tail light tints, and especially the headlights! (Looks like the JDM prius.) I don't think you should paint your rims black - just buy new ones.

One question about the headlights though, that bulb in the corner edge of the headlight...what light is that, and what color will it illuminate now? I also know the law requires you to have orange reflectors somewhere in the front of the car. Now that you've removed them do you plan to put them somewhere else?

Now, if you black out your backside emblems and drop your ride, your in BIT-ness!

I'm actually planning on changing the parking lights from the stock clear to an led amber and as the for turn signal bulb its amber stock so i might just leave it. I am planning on dropping it when i have extra money.

put it in the oven and removed the amber pieces. I've done it many times to my past cars.

How does your light differ from the JDM headlight? Is the JDM assembly missing pieces like yours or is it replaced with some other piece of plastic/relector?

I did it once back when I had a civic si. How many refletors? 2? Did they just pop right out? Do they leave mounting holes in the headlights?

How did you black out the front grille piece? I'm thinking of going the spraypaint route.

those would look pretty much the same as the JDM lights... only difference will be the JDM headlights shape is not smooth..it has a bulge between the park lights and headlights..... (which is not noticeable when you're looking at a distance)

    Nice!

How hard was it to get the lights apart? I'm thinking of adding real LED DRL's where the "fake" ones are.

    Do you have any tips?

Did you just paint your grille black?

Generally you just put the lights in your oven at the lowest setting, like 200 degrees or so for 5-10-15 minutes. The light should be slightly hot to the touch. Don't worry about melting it, this is only a little hotter than leaving your car out in the sun all day. Then you'd just pull the lens apart from the housing using a flat head screwdriver and some patience.
