Just starting the countdown clock for our 2011 Prius !!

Have ordered a novus grey t-spirit but with the led pack and the sunroof so build-to-order with a 16 week lead time :-(

Been looking for a while but given how long it was going to take to come decided to take it as as an 2011 model on an '11 plate on march 1 ...

Not going for JBL upgrade as haven't heard good things about it from forums and friend who's got it ... speaker upgrades and new amp can be got for less than Toyota charge ;-)

Going to be a long wait !!

    Good Luck!
I hope it winds up being worth the wait! :D
I know that if petrol were to cost here what it costs there, I'd probably be ordering one for myself!! (Currently US$2.50/gal here....OUR gallon)

Thanks - it's around £1.20 per litre at the moment ... $1.94 per liter ... so that's around $7.30 per US gallon or $8.80 per UK gallon !!!

Do you have to pay more than MSRP or get $3500.00 off MSRP on the 2011 model?

They haven't confirmed the 2011 UK specs or prices yet !!

Seems there isn't as much wiggle room on pricing - just over £1,200/$1,900 off but still came in at around $41,000 including the 20% sales tax payable from Jan 4 :0

    20% ??!!
Wow. Sales tax is 3-percent here (in the colones, it depends on which state you register the vehicle in.)
    $41K sounds about right.

    Good Luck!!

wow.. that's not bad (the discount) but the tax is pretty high!! wow! Over here, it's 5-15% percent depending on province/territory.

Yea. 20% is very high. You said 'from Jan 4'. Is tax much lower before that date and is it the same for all car sales or just for hybrid?

Sales tax in the UK is currently 17.5%. It goes up to 20% from Jan 4th. The tax date is the date of delivery so you can't pay early to beat the increase. :(
In other parts of Europe, sales tax is much higher than 20%.
