    Hi there,

I'm a new (to me) Prius 2005 owner imported from Japan. I know there are others from New Zealand that contribute to this forum.

Despite the menus being in japanese I've figured out the main stuff but am curious to know what the button below the steering wheel which has an icon of the chassis with the front wheels turned out does. Yesterday it was switched on with a green light.

If anyone has any further information ie translation of the Japanese manuals I'd appreciate hearing from you. I have downloaded the US version.

Anyway I've enjoyed the first week of driving a Prius around town and look forward to a road trip in the near future.

    Thanks for any help.

    :welcome:

    It is IPA switch.
I would suggest you obtain the UK version manual instead of the US one.

Thanks and yes I can spell "Prius". Does anyone know of a pdf of the UK manual?

    Wow a forum that's alive!
