Can 2010 Climb Ramp Onto Auto Transport Trailer?

Those ramps don't appear to be very steep. I believe they are lower angle than the plastic ramps that I have for changing oil. There are different brands and designs of car trailers, so some probably have steeper ramps than others.

You can tell by the clearance between the front spoiler and the ramp, so the best way is to carefully pull the car up to the ramp and see if the spoiler will hit before the tire(s) are on the ramp. You should be able to check without causing any damage.

 

I bought my car from a dealer in Boston (I'm located on Long Island) and had it trucked to my house on a transport. It was backed off with no problem, so I have to believe that putting it on was not an issue either. Also, that's how dealers get the cars delivered to them.

 

I used to trailer a (very) lowered sports car that had much less clearance than my Prius. When loading it on the trailer I'd drive over wood 2" X 12"s to assist in the transition.

The Prius, being very simular in ride height to many other cars, I presume will not have a significant problem. But the wood (as noted, to help with the transition) is always an option.
