    Yeah "Outside a dog..." is Twain. "Time flies like an arrow..." is unknown, but it's not Groucho Marx (source: Wikipedia - I won't link to it here because the board does weird things with Wikipedia links).

    Here's one that IS Groucho's:

    The first six pages of Google shows it as as a Groucho quote. Wikipedia doesn't even show up in those six pages. Can you cite anything authoritative showing that it came from Twain?

    I agree, it doesn't sound like Twain but it does sound like Groucho. This is from a Twain quotation site that seems it would have this quote if it was Twain's - but it is not there ---

    Mark Twain quotations - Dogs

    The Wikipedia page with Twain quotes does not have this quote so what Wikipedia page does?

    Finally, Groucho is credited for the quote virtually everywhere you look ---

    While not absolute proof the evidence does seem to favor Groucho over Twain.
