    Exactly the same for the Ford Transit Connect BEV.

    Nissan seems to trust Joe Average Car Buyer to manage a BEV.
    Toyota and Ford appear not to.
    Why would that be?

    Especially in that LEAF -- and by extension the RAV4 and Transit Connect
    BEVs -- range and battery charging matters/issues will be thoroughly
    discussed/thrashed out in the automotive press well before 2012/13.

    IMO, the average American driver can't tell the difference between the brake & accelerator pedals. With all the computers in the car I believe my Prius is smarter than many Americans (especially those partying with your national beverage ;)).

    Rav4 not an SUV, a CUV based on Corolla platform.

    Just sayin' :)

    Need to hit mainstream buyers with eco cars. Don't make them green per se, just normal.
