    no duel zone is ok. I'd rather have dual-zone :p

    Yeah but they've been limited video (DVD) playback to Lexus models only. TMS and Toyota Canada tend to be a little behind in technology (I mean, an iPod/USB is still a dealer accessory in Canada). I don't know if it's because of our laws, the sue-happy nature of the people or they just don't think we're high tech enough. (or I guess cost). I hope they can faster respond to consumer demand in the future with regards to media entertainment.

    Oh now they use white lighting. Gah. They couldn't do that starting with our Prius? If I had one niggle, it's the fact that the dashboard looks like it came from the early 90s when lit at night.

    it has been same in europe tideland prius... Verso-S is new small Prius based on Yaris, so 2 classes lower vehicle than Prius MPV.

    well thats brand new system that will have video in, and it will be sold as accessory for all toyotas in europe, just announced at Paris autoshow... so i dont doubt that it might get released in the states as well... One of the things customers complain about in USA is poor ipod integration.

    Sounds like your son has his head on straight, Doug. :)

    And it looks like there are two arrows on either side of the cabin temperature display; this makes me think that there just might be dual/duel climate controls.

    And what's the button on the right with the person sitting down with things raining down on them? Will that play Gallagher videos?

    Well at first I thought they were just indicating that the knob can be rotated either way (until I saw that the silver ring around the base of the knob has arrows too). It's definitely not dual-zone since that usually requires the display of the temperature for the second zone.


    The button you refer to Tony is also on our Gen 3 Prius (and most Lexus models). It's supposedly the air filter button that completely closes the vents from the outside (I was told Recirculate still lets in some fresh air). On our Gen 3 Prius, it has a 3 min timer before it reverts back to your previous setting.

    Wait a minute. I think I know what the arrows are for. The knob with the AUTO is not a knob. It's a joystick. The arrows indicate that you can move the highlighted box to the left or to the right.

    Look at the automatic climate control. There are no buttons for fan speed or mode. The idea is that you nudge the knob left or right to select fan speed, temperature or mode and then you rotate the knob to adjust it!
