    Those are not the standard head lamps for base II right? Where did you get them...

    The headlights are the standard prius II.

    yes, you do have to remove the cover. PM me for details.
    I am currently getting it installed and will have the finished product pics up today.
    I am also working on the front emblem as well at the same time
    and installing LED lights.

    Wait for update...

    Can't wait. Mainly I would like to do the ring around lowbeam. Did you still have to remove the lens to do that?

    I am still putting everything together as we speak. So far it looks really clean.
    Will post pictures probably tomorrow.

    Wow these look great! This is the first I see of headlights mods for the Prius and I'm impressed! Good work.

    Don't get me wrong--but I'm trying to figure out what the advantage is by doing this modification. I mean, do you turn on your headlights at night and stand in front of the car admiring them??:(

    ...the other cool thing about cars is they go on roads and people are on roads and other people look at cars

    Looks good DM! Was it difficult lighting up the emblem? I was thinking of modding the rear emblem though...

    It'd be cool to add a super powerful projector behind the emblem so it shines a Toyota sign on the road like a bat signal.
