I got frisked at LAX by a TSA agent

    I went to Tokyo for 2 weeks and when I left LAX, despite my removing my watch, bracelet, belt, everything in my pocket and shoes, I kept tripping the sensor. After the 5th try, I was told to step aside. I then realized I was wearing a support belt around my waste because of a lower back problem especially so I could lift the suitcases. The agent, a burly man about 50 years old said that's what it was and sure enough I didn't trip the senor. However, he explained to me that it was standard policy to do a full body check the new method included touching and feeling the body, etc. and asked me if I wanted it done in a private room. I told him as long as he didn't ask me to strip down, I didn't care.

    So he put on new gloves and asked me to turn around and hold my arms up as he put his hands on my head and worked down to the abdomen, Both the front, back and sides were patted. Then he said he was going to work on my lower area. He proceeded to feel my waste and then he moved to my legs. He worked each leg at a time and came all the way up to the side of my privates. I didn't care but I would think for some this would be intimidating or embarrassing. The whole incident was a about a half an hour delay for me. Fortunately I was way early.

    They check you anyway if you fit to profile, even metal detector says nothing… :D

    The problem with TSA is that "fit to profile" is human. Some radical Islamic guy puts a bomb in his underware, and then everyone gets their underware checked. Doing anything else would be "discrimination". :rant:

    I asked if I could have a female agent and he said "sorry but no" After I glanced at the female staff, I realized they didn't look any better than the burly agent.

    I am kind of surprised it took that long.
    The half an hour includes from the time I tripped the sensor the first time and stepping aside while he processed a few more passengers before he got a substitute.

    Well, the proper profile is 'human'.

    Men should get fluffed by women attendants before they go in for the body scan. I'm not talking about burly security guard women either. I'm talking about hot women.
