Recently moved to Phoenix, AZ have cash to buy (sold the home in CA) a car.

My daughter who has Prius, recommends solar roof and backup camera package, otherwise the regular Prius setup.

I am a USAA member and will be using their buying car service.

how much should I expect to pay?

    thanks,

if you plan to pay cash the car and keep it for a while, i would suggest you to get a 2010 with a big discount!

    I don't know what USAA's program price is but you can build a car & get up to 3 dealer quotes on a 2010 (same car) or 2011 at www.aaa.com. A 2011 4-solar is $29702 (invoice) while a 2010 4-solar is $28064 (invoice $29564).

You can run the numbers through USAA's website and know exactly what you'll pay. You can build to your specs and it will generate a lead to three local dealerships. You'll have the USAA price instantly and the name of the three dealerships and their USAA price. From there's it's just a matter of contacting the Dealership to see if they have what you want in stock. With USAA it really couldn't be simpler, and takes away a lot of the guess work!

I purchased through USAA in July and paid $3400 under Invoice. This, of course, was a 2010, not a 2011, but there is no change on the 2011 other than offering Bisque Interior with the Black Exterior, and somehow, I doubt you'll want Black living in Phoenix!

This was funny to read for me :p
I'm from Phoenix and have a black 2008 with tan interior.
Surprisingly, it's not too bad on heat dissipation!
Then again, I always park under shade from parking covers.
