I've looked and done searches on the site, but didn't see this specific info: when will the 2011s be available to order?

I just went to the Prius site and there's nothing showing there but 2010s.

And of course only existing 2010 inventory is showing.

One would think that by 12-2010 one could get info on and order a 2011 Prius.

They have at least landed in So Cal. Not sure about other places... certainly not Alaska.

Toyota isn't making any changes to the Prius other than the date and numbers instead of roman numerals for the packages. "10's" still being delivered at least until 1/18/2011. 2011 model might actually mean first produced in 2011. When was the last time that happened for any car? If you see a 2010 model you like and it's on sale why not get that one?

Inventory in my area for the IVs are extremely low. I think I saw a total of 4 in the area (none in the color I wanted, which is silver with misty grey with no other options).

So, with low inventory in the IV's and V's I figured the 2011s would be out soon.

Toyota Sunnyvale told me 2011's won't be on the ground until late Jan/ early Feb. time frame, but they may have said that to sell the 2010's.

Yeah, I don't want solar, nor nav....or at least I don't want to pay for them. I do want leather/lumbar and the other included stuff with pkg IV, but no other options.

I saw a couple of 2011 Prius automobiles on the lot at the local Toyota dealer in Redwood City, CA last week.

Watch DianneWhitmire's posts for availability, though she is on the wrong side of the continent for you. I thought she already had some.

Oh .... about now. At least in Fremont, CA anyway. Looked exactly same as 2010's.

two I saw were 'Prius Three Model' (instead of 2010's Prius III)

    2011/1225A

both non-nav's @ $25,010 with mats and delivery.

accessorized asking price was ~ $24,800.

    Tech Guy,

I lived in Redwood City before moving to NC. Small world indeed.

The 2011's are now being allocated. The retail customer can't order a specific car. The 2011 pricing is available at www.aaa.com.

I thought the 2011 were supposed to have some minor Changes on them? Like new color and some naming stuff. Is that available already ? I am waiting for the 2011's so i can pick a IV up myself with the solar roof :p!

Well I think I'm ready to pull the trigger after yet another part broke on my Saab (check engine AND check gearbox lights came on tonight), after just getting the direct ignition cassette replaced and new spark plugs this morning. I've had it. I'm tired of things breaking on this car. It only has 96K mi, though it is 13 yrs old. I bought it brand new. I'm throwing up the white flag.

    Time to get a Prii.

I want a IV in Silver/Misty with no other options. Or at least I don't want to pay for Nav or Solar. I'd absolutely love a V with the ATP, but that's just too expensive and I can't really justify the jump in price.

I dislike toyo's colors, but I think I'll be okay with silver/misty. With no garage, the car will live outside.

A 2010 would be great if such an animal were available AND a decent price could be found. If not, then I'll have to go for a 2011 when available, I suppose.

Silver/Misty is the only color I'll consider. The red is ok, but I'll be sick of red within 6 months. Don't like the blue. Don't like the dark gray or black. The blizzard is pretty but it's still white. Nope. Silver is the one.

I live in NC (Triangle area) and want to avoid the Southeast Toyo conglomerate with their mafioso-style extra fees, tacked on 'extras,' and general extortion. The dealers in my area are known to be priced higher.

Anyone got a lead on a good dealer for me?
