We haven't had a good cat thread in awhile.

That breed started as cats with that defect around 1960, then breeders decided to propagate it.

If you look at the cat breeds, nearly all of them will have some connection to (1) domestic (i.e. American, British, European) shorthairs, (2) Persians/Angoras, (3) Siamese, (4) a mutation like in the Scottish Fold.

Among other types of cats created by breeders are the flat-nosed "ultra" Persians and the anorexic "wedgie" Siamese - I prefer the more traditional Persians and Siamese.

 

D'oh! For a laugh, I showed that to my husband (who claims he's not a cat fan) and guess what he wants to get our kitty for Christmas!

 

Have to ask - is this a kitty burqa?

 

LOL! The hiding place & heat seeking missle snuck into the sleeve of my husband's coat that he'd just dropped on the floor. The demanding little fuzz ball has also been telling me I spend too much time on the computer & PC!
