I suggest you start a Personal Build Thread/Post too !!!
(I think if you title it along the lines of Lighting / Build it'll help folks here on Prius Chat know where exactly to find ya !!!)

I think it would help your Lighting Promoter big time !!!

Try to make it out to the meeting so you can share your stories and experiences first hand about your Lighting Promoter with the rest of us !!!

Nice wood trim kit. There are few pieces there that interest me (the centre console lid one looks quite nice as well as the window switch trim).

I haven't found one that matches the Dark Grey interior. I'm thinking black bird's eye maple or similar (i.e. a dark grey wood trim). I find that the traditional wood colours are a better suited for the Bisque interior with the darker/redder woods for the Misty Grey.

Wow, that's really slammed. The rear tire/wheel combo looks dangerous, all right.

    HEY TIDELAND !!!

    :):):):)

I am real pleased with the Wood Trim Kit too, I was wondering if it would come out alright before it had arrived ... and reading up on some other Prius Chat member's posts, I knew that I wouldn't be dissapointed !!!

Yes I do agree with you on those Wood Color choices for both the Bisque and the Misty Grey !!!

I like the Birds Eye Maple's more than the Burlwood's for the Prius interiors.

HEY THERE PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

    :):):):)

Had some time today to get some work on the HB II Ride today ...

Many thanks to this site for other great folks' modifications and customizing projects that have inspired me to work on the HB II Ride during this build ...

The latest mod that I wanted to accomplish was to "blacken out" the two roof panels between the Solar Roof and the Rear Glass Window.

Drunkin Master installed his in a Matte Black Finish :

    http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-accessories-modifications/67010-my-new-roof.html

Scaurex installed his in a Gloss Black Finish :

    http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...ck-out-between-hatch-glass-solar-sunroof.html

And so I wanted to install mine in the Dry Carbon Fiber Finish.

Though it may not be everyone's taste, I really like how it looks on the Scion tC's and some of the higher end vehicles. I think it gives the vehicle more of a Panoramic Roof look. And being that the HB II Ride is a Blizzard Pearl, it looked "Choppy" to me. This modification looks great on the Blizzard Pearl as it provides a great contrast and it ties in with the existing Solar Roof !!!

Here is the latest Modification ... Dry Carbon Fiber Vinyl wrap of the Two Roof Panels !!!

Here are pictures from the installation !!!

The Two Weatherstrips had to be pry-ed off and removed ...

Then on the Interior, both the Windshield Washer Nozzle and the Antenna had to be clipped off / unscrewed via the Interior Black Panel and Headliner ...

The Interior Black Panel pops out with easy, just be careful not to pull too hard and break the fasteners !!!

Then it was time to unscrew the Antenna ...

The 3 Headliner Clips had to be pry-ed off ...

    And VOILA !!!

I preferred to remove both the Windshield Washer Nozzle and the Antenna so that I had a smooth surface to work with rather than cutting around the two objects ... This provides a more even and custom look for the Dry Carbon Fiber Vinyl ...

The Dry Carbon Fiber Vinyl ...

    Test Fitments ...

With alot of Patience, a steady hand, a heat gun, and detail spray ...
I spent a total of 4 hours as I wanted this to be as seamless as possible. I tucked the vinyl underneath the rubber weather seals and the two weather strips

And finally it was complete !!!

    Lower Panel ...

    Then the Upper Panel ...

Tucked under the Rear Window ...

And Tucked Under the Solar Roof Weather Seal ...

    Over View ...

I really liked the Flush / Smooth look ...

As you can see I did not reinstall the Rear Washer Nozzle yet later reinstalled the Antenna.

Many Many thanks to the other great Prius Chat folks on here for their inspiration for yet another Mod on the HB II Ride !!!

4 Hours were well spent !!!

    Happy New Year Folks !!!

Clean install! And I agree four hours well spent! I'd like to do this as well but I'm thinking of using a matte black finish. I'd like to use a glossy black but I'm afraid the glossy effect would fade away over time.

Oh btw, do you have any other websites with the curtains? I've checked the ones I know of and they're sold out of size small :\

Man I'm going to have to wrap mine now so I can delete the rear washer nozzle. I plugged the rear wiper so not having a nozzle or antenna would be so clean.
