    No, I didn't see anything, but about once a year, one of my very old friends returns to pluck at my heartstrings...

    Reading your special tribute is like listening to Etta James sing Smokestack Lightning. Sort of bluesy, sort of rowdy; soulful & independent. I'm trying to decide whether you've captured his spirit, or if his spirit has captured yours. Who's haunting who, Rae Vynn? :) Some ghosts are good to have.

    Thank you, Daniel.

    Tom was a very special man... one of the universe's gifts to me. I've recently learned to recognize the gifts I've been given over the years.

    Amm0bob, I do know that there are ghosts... some are external, some are internal. I doubt that Tom actually arrives and pokes at me to get my attention - I think my own heart brings him to my remembrance, haunting me. Perhaps to remind me what "lessons" I should take forward from knowing him. Things like acceptance, love, tolerance, gracious good humor, and seeing past a prickly exterior.

    Still... when it was a running... I didn't turn on the stereo...

    I believe I have been in their influence, and that I have been seen by them...

    More than one entity... more than one time... more than just family... and once, I believe my life was saved.

    I swear to this day I heard my Grandfather's voice say "move... NOW Jr... NOW DAMN-IT..."

    I did.

    I still have the metal from the rocket in my body to this day... but I am here this day...
