    Hi johalareewi, hi Cuphron,

sorry for the late reply. I was on business travel in France. But of course with my brand new installed flyaudio unit. The quality seem to be absolutely OK. It fits perfect into the dash an also color and texture are like the OEM. I first had some minor trouble to install the navigation software but with some help from Mapfactor company I was finally able to get it running. The rearview camara is a very fantastic feature and I really like it (perfect pictures).
All other function are running (incld. iPhone connection via bluetooth and DVD viewing) very well. The only not so good things I detected so far is that the unit sometimes tell me that the bluetooth conection was lost and that the delivered microphone quality seems not so good than the original (my wife told me). I think I will try to reset the unit within the next day to see if this will help to resolve this.
What I did not tested so far is the MP3 Player function.
The max. volume with the iPhone (iPod function) should further be better, but I think this is more an iPhone issue.
Sound is clear and with the suroundsound function turned on the sound is much better than with the original radio.
The unit also have a nice optional feature TPMS (tyre pressure monitor sytem). I am now looking to the right sensors and will let you know once I found them in the internet (anyone any idea? Bluetooth or radio?).
If you have any further questions please let me know!

I too just installed my new Fly Head Unit from Mat, and it is easy to do! It's basically just plug and play with harness provided for my 2010 Series ll.

Pros: 1.) Made my stock speakers sound so much better than the stock head unit. :D
2.) The external looks like it was made in the factory just for Prius. ;)
    3.) USB works well
4.) IPOD cable works well with my G3S IPHONE
5.) Adjusting the audio controls is simple, allowing for maximum acoustical pleasure from the stock speakers.

Cons: 6.) The DVD Player was not Region "0" :( ... It only played Asian movies ---I contacted Mat and he tried to get a solution from the factory who did not get back to him for over two weeks now...??? I'm kinda worried I might have to return the head unit if they don't fix this major issue! I need my USA DVD movies!
7.) The brightness controls are weak at best. You have three default settings, and they are all way too bright for night driving. The unit shows that it has from a setting of #3 to #20 and a "Auto" none of which work---!$#@! Mat is aware if this too.

8.) The IPHONE Cable to a bit short
9.) Difficult to navigate through the music files on Iphone...$#@!#@ Not too user friendly on this. After all, it is a head unit!

*--- :bored: No answers so far, and Mat has offered to refund the monies I paid---but as you all must imagine---I am hoping that FLY Audio will come up with solutions for these two issues...

There are loads of pics from Bagewell on 09-15-2010, 04:14 PM

on the first tab of the threads...

As far as the look-vs-stock--- I think this looks very much like it was made for Prius! Very nice color for the DVD player movies.... unfortunately, my DVD player only plays Asian DVD's so I can't say that 100% it looks good with High Tech U.S. DVD's.

As you can see the Cons that I listed--- The one that gets to me after the U.S. DVD's not being able to play, is that when I play music from my IPHONE, the menu search is sucky. Too much searching for a simple song when driving, too much back and forth to find an album...and lastly, I like to read the Lyrics that I saved and can see on my IPHONE when I listen to my IPHONE disconnected to the Head Unit.

Let's just cross our fingers that Fly Audio sends Mat from MAXAUTO Service Center the fix for the DVD Region and a couple other things I would like to see work---like the Screen Dimmer option in the internal menu... Out.

hi passionate1, thanks for the info. i did see Bagewell's photos, but i was looking for a photo that showed more of the texture is daylight. from what i can tell, it appears to be a smooth texture vs stock, but the color is very accurate.

thanks for your help, or anyone else that can provide some more photos

    A few questions here:

    1) If I get a Prius 3 with BT, what will happen?
    2) How does the TPMS work? Does it come with sensors?

You will need to buy the sensors that match your head unit...

i would have gotten flyaudio but the wait time was over 1 month on backorder. the deciding factors for me were the built in bluetooth mic in the hu for rosen and getting the ipod cable & backup camera cable free...

otherwise i would have gotten flyaudio because their button lighting is much better and i like the way it's designed better
