I'm also searching for a bug screen - travel through the wetlands of CA daily. This is a necessity - soon! Any help is appreciated.

Are you wanting one to cover the front of the Prius? I use nylon window screen in front of the radiator to keep the bugs from clogging it. Put it between the front grill and radiator. I also have the clear bra to save the paint.

How did you attach the nylon screen to the radiator front? I would think the screen would reduce air flow to much, reducing radiator performance.

    Happy Motoring,

I hang the nylon screen with a few zip ties. I have did this to every car and truck I have owned for years never had any problems with over heating.

At risk of sounding stupid, where did you find an attachment point? I have a 2010 Prius. This has an under-chasis guard and an over-radiator guard, eliminating access to the standard places to hang the screen. I don't want to drill through the body, but there are no "screw" points to use. Instead, there are plastic clips. Did you remove the clips to insert the zip ties?

I removed the guard on top of the radiator. Use a small screw diver and pry up the center of the fasteners, they can be reused just be gentle. Under the guard you will find attaching points for the zip ties. It probably took me and hour to install but I'm picky. Had to install and remove the screen a few times and trim it to fit just right then hang from the top with zip ties. I used 3 zip ties one on each end and one in the middle.

Has anyone been able to install something like this for their Prius ?

Apparently this company "DBS" is no longer in business, but I like the professional appearance of this one. It looks like a quality unit.
