Has anyone tried installed the JL Audio Cleansweep?

I am looking to keep the factory nav unit as I like the clean look that it has compared to installing an aftermarket nav unit. I am just nervous about installing the Cleansweep into the car as I am not sure what's involved with adding the Cleansweep. Every time I have done a install on a vehicle I rip out all the factory stuff and install Alpine and JL Audio gear.

Depending on what you're trying to do, you'll probably also need the SSI module to sum the electronically crossed-over signals coming from the factory amp (I'm assuming that you've got the JBL since you have NAV). There have been a few PriusChatters that I'm aware of who have used the CleanSweep with varying degrees of success/happiness. Keep in mind that the CleanSweep will simply give you four channels of flat (un-equalized) line level signal to feed to aftermarket amplifier(s). It doesn't give you any equalization capibility, time correction, cross-overs, etc.
Shawnb2 actually tried to use a CleanSweep and had no luck making it work...ended up going with an aftermarket head unit. There are other options, but they are pricey: look into the JBL MS-8, the Audison Bit One, the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.3, and the Audio Control DQL-8.

I had Best Buy install the Cleansweep and SSI module (along with new speakers, dynamat and an Alpine amp) in my V. Works great.

I had it done in two phases: the speakers and dynamat was $140 and the Cleansweep, SSI and Alpine amp was $300.
