Has anyone transplanted the factory NAV system and display into a car that came without it? I have a customer that wants to do this on a 06-08 car that he hasn't purchased yet, since he cant seem to find the one he wants with NAV already in it.

Before I spend hours researching on TIS, I thought I would see if I could learn from one who went before me..

    Thanks in advance.

I think it would be cost and time prohibitive getting all the sensors, new steering wheel, new MFD surrond plus all the other pieces. Buy a garmin and be done with it

I appreciate that, and your recommendation is probably the sensible one.

I have a unique situation here, though. I have a donor car with all the parts and a guy who REALLY wants the transplant done.

I am just curious if anyone has done it and would be willing to share their experience.

Nav equipped Priuses have map, info and voice command buttons on them.
