Pittsburgh's starting centre is hurt and will be replaced by a raw rookie. The guy's no doubt talented, but centre is a critical position, and this does not bode well for the Steelers.

 

I wonder how many people Tivo the Superbowl just so they can fast forward over all the boring football parts to get to the commercials.

 

I predict Budweiser will have the winning commercial this year, with Canon running a tight second.

 

Hyping an event is one thing. When the hype *is* the 'event', there's something sadly, deeply wrong.

 

well it sure isn't the half time show.

 

Unless Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake are in it.

 

I predict the National Anthem will be "sung" by some dim-wit rock star. And the half- time show will be a signal to use the mute button.

I appreciate the half-time show, since it takes time away from the "analysts."
Regardless, that time is already budgeted for a bit of exercise.
