    Oh yes, VERY reasonable

    I played a lot of football in highschool and college, rotated around to keep fresh. Those days are behind me, buggered up knees and ankles but am still a good scrapper

    I'm still sore about not being able to get time off from work to travel to the Detroit unveiling, especially since Toyota was kind enough to make that once-in-a-lifetime offer.

    That said, I like that mental image and it works for me. Just so you know, "short little round woman" is my thing

    I don't care what people think. I just keep smiling. Especially when I pass them at the pumps. People in RI are the worst drivers. Very inconsiderate, drive wicked fast, jack rabbit starts from red lights, etc.. I'm looking to get a license plate frame with a nice message for the driver behind me to read. Whether you care about the environment or not, one thing we have in common is we're saving $$$ on mileage. No matter if you're Democratic, Republican, Tea Party... we all enjoy our Prius's and our gas mileage. But it is nice knowing that I personally am not contributing to the smog in our city as much

    Really? Palin AND Bachmann? How did you use that same brain to make such a sensible choice when selecting a vehicle? Those two make me feel embarrassed to be an American...and I'm pretty much apolitical...
    Not trying to be a prick...but reading that just makes me sad that anyone could miss such obvious malevolence and ignorance displayed by such an obvious pair of nitwits. :confused: Have you not listened to them speak?

    I have several liberal friends with whom I enjoy discussing politics. We all generally learn something from these sometimes heated, but always friendly discussions. One of the reasons for this is that my liberal friends get a lot of their news from NBC networks and I from Fox News. We do not belittle each other for differences in political ideology or for which network we may watch for our news (in addition to the NYT and the WSJ etc.)

    I have absolutely no time for flame throwers among my acquaintances both on the left and on the right.

    The support of these two whackos can only partially be opinion based. Some facts are empirical regarding these 2 and the irresponsible, rediculous things they have spouted are on record. I've heard them with my own ears and with all relevant context. I did not form my opinion through a media slanted filter...neither MSNBC nor Fox's infotainment.

    You are free to believe in death panels just as you are free to believe in Santa...but to expect other grown ups to respect those beliefs in adult discourse is preposterous.

    In a way I find it ironic that the keynote speaker on Reagan's 100th birthday is not taking as high a road as The Gipper, and anyone today with his actual views risks being branded RINO. {sigh}

    While this may be a crass to say on his 100th birthday, your post made me dig out an old book for a refresher: Reagan's Reign of Error, Expanded and Updated (Green & MacColl, 1983 & 1987).

    These Obama videos are no worse than one page of Reagan's booboos. This book has 176 pages of the later.

    (FWIW, I haven't been a Democrat since Slick Willy's first term.)
