Can someone let me know if $24,648 OTD is a good deal for a Prius III with upgraded audio, and heated leather seats?

Or, Prius III with NAV/Solar Package with no leather seats for $25,608 OTD

    Thanks!

This is a great deal because that is OTD.

    2010 or 2011?

Either way...if the prices are OTD...they're not too bad.

what are the msrp's and net price before all the otd price? because, otd is different in every state.

MSRP is $24,827 On a 2010. OTD $24,648 This is the one where theres no NAV/Sat package but their installing leather heated seats ordered from the factory & updated Audio. Plus mats & wheel locks already on the car.

got it, but without knowing the otd costs (tax, title, registration, whatever else) it's difficult to say.

He told me that it's all included. I told him I not paying a penny more, and he said that's right. He even put that in the email he sent me.

The other question is, is it better to go with the NAV/Solar Package and no leather heated seats at $25,608 OTD all fee's included?

Those prices are ok, I would try for lower if they are willing. Personally I would take NAV/Solar over leather seats and audio. When I was test driving I found the leather they use seemed really cheap and not worth the money. I chose the NAV package because it comes with Bluetooth and the rear backup camera. I have found the NAV system to be much more enjoyable and the resale value will be higher compared to one with leather.

i think it's a personal decision between the two. i have heard some bad things about the nav and you can get a garmin for a hundred bucks. but solar sounds interesting and i like my backup camera. i guess you would need to see, touch, sit in the leather. i wouldn't be too hasty, shop around some more and search this forum for info and opinions. the prices don't sound all that great. all the best!

Since OTD includes some significant items (like sales tax, registration, etc.) that vary significantly by state, you're going to get more intelligent responses by excluding those costs. Make it simple: MSRP vs. quoted price (before tax, registration, etc.).

I'm here in the San Francisco Bay Area. We purchased our 2010 III (Blizzard Pearl with Bisque interior) with Nav about a month ago. We paid $24,700 before tax, title and license. After TTL, the total was $27,200. I feel we got a great deal because I called 5 other local dealers and they all said they couldn't beat that price.

With that said, I think you're getting a great price if it is truly OTD with TTL included. Go with the Nav over the leather seats. Better resale value and nice to have. The voice activited part is great. Maybe it's because I hate leather seats too. lol

Oh yeah I forgot that w/o Nav on a Gen III, you don't get the screen/backup camera. Gen II FTMFW!

Looking at the original poster's quotes, yes - especially the solar package for sub $26,000 is excellent. Unfortunately this thread is a few months old. Purchased a Prius III today with navi for $500 under MSRP.

I too would go for the Nav pkg and the solar, you can always add after marker leather seats far, far cheaper-and easier than installing a Nav pkg and solar at a later point in time. You'd ,more than likely be ready for leather seats after 3-4 years as the material would start to look worn and "dirty" if it's like my 07-and we don't have children or eat in the vehicle. Perhaps it had something to do with the inside window tinters that dripped water on everything when they put the window tint on, the arm rests have been lookin bad since that point in my Prius' history.
