So far this is my personal (short distance) record - 45 miles at 72mpg. Drove on ECO mode the whole time.

Way to go. Those accomplishments always feel good and make you want to better them.

Of course Livi had to come home, up hill. ;)

Just joking. I am able to get that going to work (15 miles) but on the way home around 45mpg. It all averages out.

ha ha Not quit the same numbers, but nice try. :)

Also that's why I called it "personal" record and not just record. Our driving terrain is never going to be the same so we can never compare.

OMG! The car had to be turned-off, coasting downhill with a tailwind!

I could post a picture of 50+ miles at 99.9 mpg, with a higher average speed. But a disclosure is necessary, it took advantage of terrain, i.e. it was downhill.

From Japan, we have already seen a picture of 117 mpg (after conversion from metric) for a full tank, so it was done without much gravity assist.

I'd like know how far a regular Prius can go with zero fuel. This would require either a metric display or a ScanGauge. I have a 25 mile stretch in mind, unfortunately not in this state so a test is not convenient. But it does waste some gravity, so there should be some longer road section somewhere. Does anyone have suggestions?
