Greetings. New owner of used 2008 Prius. I'd like to ask for suggestions for service/maintenance in the Seattle area? Kirkland Toyota is the closest but Yota of Lake City is almost as close. Any independent dealers that are hip to Prii?

Also...any experienced DIYers in the area. I have an EBH on the way...I'm not too scared to try it myself but I've got huge mitts and I'm not sure I can access all the cramped nooks and crannies. I'll bring excellent beer/chow/coffee etc...

    Thanks,

    Bill

I too am wondering the same thing but I live on the Eastside.

So far, I've been bringing my car to Toyota Kirkland for TSB work and maintenance. They seem ok, for the most part. They're part of http://washington.obrienautogroup.com/default.aspx?html=home_toyota.html&s=toyota-home. Funny enough, the owner's daughter is currently on The Bachelor. But, I digress...

I'd heard bad things about Toyota of Bellevue so I've steered clear, for now.

Don't know if you'd consider it local, but I got good service at Toyota of Olympia

    I've heard good things about them...but that's at least a 90 minute drive ...

I think I like Toyota of Olympia.

seatown7, if you bring yours down to Olympia, maybe we could meet for coffee (and if DH is available, he'll join us. Bring your DW! :) it could be a Prius party...)

Too far for me. It's 72 miles away or 1 hour, 22 minutes per Google Maps.

What is my DW? And if it's what I think it is...it goes with me everywhere without me really thinking to bring it...;)

I went to Toyota of Kirkland today and dealt with Felix Luong. I was just getting the floor mat recall swap, but he was very helpful and didn't try to upsell me on anything. So far, so good. :D
