I have happy news!
I'm going home!

Explanation: I'm returning to Carson Toyota (about 15 miles down the 405 from M.B.).

Before MB, I was at Carson from 1998 to 2007. It's where I started taking the online orders and selling the original Prius 2001 models. Admittedly, I did not leave "happy" in 2007 but it's been 4 years and a lot of things have changed for us all.

I'm thrilled to announce that at the end of this week, I'll be back at Carson in a beautiful office in a beautiful building with a lot of inventory and the same freedom to do what I have been doing - selling lots of Toyotas, mostly Prius and hybrid models... and with even better deals for ya'll.

This is a big announcement, and will surprise a lot of folks in my business... and to my prior clients, you can still reach me at the same cel # (it's been the same cel # for 15+ years) and the same email address [email protected] and my dedication to you, your needs and friends, family, my commitment to you remains the same no matter where my desk is. That's just geography. If you need something, I'm here for you. So is the dealership.

I'll post my direct desk line here soon, as I believe it will be what it was all those years: 310-522-2317 ... and at the end of this week, I will post the lease specials and purchase special deals to finish off the month with. And, these are gonna RoCk! Just wait (if you can)!! Hey I gotta make a cannonball-splash when I start!!

Now that would be a cool way to work: travel from place to place, being everyone's watchdog liaison at the dealerships.

I just helped a very good friend in CT buy her Sienna. They used to live here and were transferred to the east coast about 5 years ago, and needed a new van, but the costs for me to ship one were just prohibitive.

It took a freakin' week + to help her make sense of the deal out there and work with the people at her local store ... I couldn't believe what a %$*& her local fleet guy and manager was... I'm so sorry for what some of you have to go thru. I just had a taste of that stupidity trying to help HER and I knew what I was doing! I have sympathy for those who don't.

Thanks guyzzzzz... wish I could help you all. But, one thing I can do @ Carson now is out of state financing and leasing!!! Yay!

Come right in, Rae! Our sales tax is even cheaper... and I can't say that about many states LOL!!!

Yes.
If you are doing a purchase, you'd have to get a 1-trip permit for the licensing, and pay the CA sales tax though.
If you are doing a lease, I'd have to find out the taxes in your state or county and calculate the lease payment with your tax laws considered. I have no idea how some leases work in some states. I know that in parts of Colorado, they demand the entire lease sales tax / use tax up front in the beginning... so things change from state to state.

IF you plan to drive it back and not have it shipped, you will have to follow our tax rules... but the answer is YES!!

When you are ready, we can discuss the details by phone. No problem. No, you pay sales tax, in some cases, where you purchase. It depends on the state and the circumstances.
