What floormats do you guys recommend? My used car didnt come with them (I didnt even notice till a couple days later).

I am thinking I should go with the all-weather ones, because I have the light beige (biscuit?) interior and its already getting dirty from a bit of mud and general dirt.

However, I read on here that these begin to wear down quickly.

What different types of all-weather ones are there?

Is there any advantage to getting the oem upholstered ones?

I think most people that have to deal with water and mud choose the Weathertech floor liners and a similar offering from Husky. I have had the Weathertech liners for a few years now and they are my favorite upgrade. I work as a land manager for nature preserves and my boots regulalry track water, dirt, mud, and cow dung into the car and the floor liners do an awesome job of keeping this crap off my carpets. In fact, my carpets (Ivory colored) underneath the mats are in brand new condition even after 127,000 miles of abuse in the outdoors.

One PC member has posted numerous complaints about the Weathertech liners not holding enough water which eventually leaks onto his carpets. He drives a 2010 so I'm not sure if the floorboard is shaped different or what the problem is but he is evidently not happy with the purchase. I appreciate his feedback despite his experiences being quite different than my own.

Where did you get yours? And did you get the trunk mat and rear seat mats too?

I forgot where I purchased them. I think I ordered them directly from Weathertech or from one of my vendors back when I worked at a performance shop.

I purchased the front and rear liners but not the trunk liner. I wish I had purchased the rear liner though. My trunk carpet is very stained and looks terrible now.

Which ones did you get? The ones that look like rubber, or the ones that look like hard plastic?

    The Digital-Fit Floorliners.

    WeatherTech Automotive Accessories - FloorLiner

They are more like a semi-hard plastic but they mold to the car's contours after a day in the sun.

Search for the other floor mat threads there are quite a few pictures in them. I went with the Husky Liners. I would also go back to the dealer you got your car from and get your carpet mats, if it was new. Try looking in the storage area under the cargo floor the mats may be hidden in there.

Just found out I was supposed to get floor mats with the car. The dealer will have the carpeted ones for me tomorrow. I guess I'll wait on getting the weatherproof ones!

I would get them anyway and save the dealer mats for when you sell the car. The dealer mats get trashed fairly quickly.
