    I hope they will have black and white photos of the original vehicle at the reveal.
    Prior to mass production around 1905-1910, the first automobiles were incredible in beauty and engineering accomplishment.

    Yep: And just like GM . . . after dropping the ball, they're having to play catch up :
    I hope the Volt doesn't meet up with the same fate as GM's earlier "leading edge" cars ... ah la EV1 ... or even this earlier version of great thinking:

    Neat video. I reference the Porsche hybrid every time someone mentions that EVs and hybrids are "new technology."

    It gives me the opportunity to mention that yes, in relation to the age of the sun and formation of continents, it is relatively new technology; it's only a little more than a hundred years old.
