Anyone get the heated seat along with the Calzzio cover? They are selling $100 each.

I am serious thinking about the Clazzio but without heated seat installed. It would be very cold to sit on in Winter....

I added the heated seats to mine, I got the kit from eBay, it was $99.00 with free shipping. They work very well, and have the dual temp controls. It was worth the extra money! I mounted the switches below the bridge on either side of the blank for the factory heaters and the power outlet. This isn't the greatest pic, but you'll get the idea!

Obviously, Clazzio sells a sheet of pvc leather(the same material as cover) 130x100cm for $30 in Japan. It has an adhesive in the back. I hope we can get it in here.

Not a bad job for a DIY....thanks for the image!
I think the Prius IV has additional padding under the pleather door inserts as well. I'll probably leave it to the pros.
Also trying to get a leather steering wheel from a IV. eBay pricing of $3-500 is a bit much, so I'll scour the salvage yards....

Ha! I was about to ask exactly the same question, but for a Level II, Blizzard Pearl, grey interior... 'want a set of Clazzios with black outer, grey insert (and eventually, black arm rests).

    Anybody?

The light grey doesn't look bad, but I still think the Ivory looks the best... I will have to look into getting the door panels though, those really finish it off.

    NICE, PAS!

Where did you find that image? It seems that, wherever it was, they also offer a view of the interior from the top and a dashboard view.

It seems that Gray, Light Gray and Ivory blends better, Black is too strong.

    Those are some photo manipulation, thus it's not 100% perfect color. Here's some more;

    VERY nice work!

I'm really getting to like the dark gray, so long as the door inserts are done.

    Thanks!

Very neat and looks factory. Is this the one you got from ebay? 2 seat Carbon Fiber Universal Heated Seat Heater Kit - eBay (item 170479355909 end time Mar-25-11 06:21:06 PDT)

How diffucult to do it if DIY? You mentioned mounting the heated seat switches to the bridge and factory heaters. 2010 Prius base model already have the factory heaters under the seat? Any more pic?

For the power, did you just get the power from the 12v outlet when you mounted the heated seat button? Any other wire need to run and connect?

    Thanks.

No, this the the kit I got: Universal Heated Pad Kit

I had them installed by a local audio shop I do business with. The base model does not have seat heaters, I meant I mounted the switches on either side of the blank where the factory heated switch is located on the IV and V Models. It's under the bridge next to the power port. Not sure where exactly he pulled the power from, but he did mention that he added a relay so power would not be applied if the ignition was off. I think he pulled power directly from the battery. They do heat up quickly and in low setting will cycle on and off to maintain a steady heat level. Installation cost me $100, but he spent about 6 hours working on it, so I feel I got a pretty good deal. It probably would have been a bit easier had they been installed before the covers went on, but I decided to get the heaters after I had already installed the seat covers, so Harold had to remove and reinstall the seat covers to install the heaters.

The heated pad has 4 pieces in each seat, 2 upper & 2 lower. Did u need to trim the pad or they fit well? Does the heated pad just lay on it own or need velco tape when attach on cloth seat? Did u know if they need to remove the seat to mount on the bridge?

I was thinking of less contrast than shown in your pic. That is, black side panels with dark grey (charcoal) centers...

No trimming necessary, you peel off the backing and they stick to the seat fabric (its a non permanent type adhesive, hard to describe, but you can pull it off to reposition and it leaves no residue or marks on the seat fabric). He did not have to remove the seats, the panel where they are mounted pops out so it could be drilled for the switches.

If possible, can you take a picture where they mount the switches. Somewhere under one of the car seat?

    Thanks.

The picture above is where they are mounted. They are not mounted to the seat. If you look at the storage area under the bridge (where the shifter and cup holder are) you'll see a black plastic rectangle and a power port (cigarette lighter). They are mounted on a plastic panel that snaps into the surrounding assembly. The switches are mounted to that smaller panel on either side of the Power Port and Blank where the factory seat heater switch would be mounted on the IV and V Models that come with heated seats. I thought the picture was pretty clear, so please forgive me if I'm not understanding you question.
