    +1 ....

bronze or gold wheels would match both winter gray and matte black.....

    THANKS CREAKY !!!

    You're quite the Enabler !!!

That would be a nice finishing touch to the Real Tailgate .... hmmm, gee your ideas are taking up my weekend !!!

I'm really starting to like working with this material, it's real durable, thin, and conforms real tight !!!

Amazing ride, Rodney! Are those black dry carbon fiber like a sticky film that mold onto your car body using just a heat gun?! Amazing! Are you going to do that on your mirror covers too? It's gonna be one sick Prius around town!!!

@ civicsky you have the best jdm lights.. I want them but with bunch of drama going on. ill wait a little... carbon mirrors would definately look awesome... I probably do carbon wrap on my Prius plus body kit and the mirrors.. when it comes out !!! I won't even paint them (saved money) just wrap them... also I think maybe clear coat on the wrap should look so nice and kinda real looking...just my 2cents

hey kel... u gotta hook it up when it comes out for sure hehe

    Droid ?

    HEY CIVICSKY & TIHSAD !!!

Thanks for the kind words !!!

I won't be using the Dry CF on the mirrors as I have something else planned for those bad boys !!!

Thanks again CIVICSKY for arranging the mirror covers, I will unveil them coming soon !!!

The Dry CF that I used is best applied with a heat gun (not too hot) or even a hair dryer to help conform around the edges of the application !!!

TIHSAD and anyone interested in the Dry Black Carbon Fiber ...

    Wow, Rodney!

Looks super cool! I like how it goes from the roof all the way down to the rear bumper - I'm thinking maybe you should wrap the hood now???

Also, could you provide rear 3/4 shots so we could see how that back piece looks with the rest of the car?

    Thanks!

Thanks Rodney - you are quick! It looks great. With the hood it will be perfect. Black top, white body, bronze wheels = perfection!

Car is looking great Rodney. Have to say, I like the bronze wheels better. Can't wait to see them in person. The carbon wrap on the hatch too. Is O-Nex the same company that does HID kits as well? That name sounds real familiar. I think their HID kit is in the fogs on our SRT-4. Oh, I will hopefully have a surprise for you in a few days. be prepared to want to sell your front turn signals. Waiting to get a source for a new one that is absolutely trick. Wait until you see. I'll text you when I have more info.

I'd have to say the bronze wheels look much better with the kind of modifications you're doing. Gunmetal (which silver does look in certain lights) goes better with blacked-out taillights (like the pictures on page 1). Great job so far!

    HEY PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

    :):):):)

Update on the HB II Project ...

    On March 12, 2011

I wanted the interior of the Cabin to be Cooler (Temperature), have better Acoustics inside, and have have a barrier of Sound Deadening from the noise outside ... I wanted to try this application first only on all 4 doors of the Prius.

Here are pictures from my installation

    Removal of the Door Panel

With the 6" strips of the Peel and Seal I began covering the areas I felt needed coverage.

After thorough coverage, and custom cutting around the existing holes for the panel plugs it was complete !!!

I only installed 1 layer on the door and 2 layers around the speaker. I wanted to keep the vehicle as lightweight as possible !!!

After installation I used HVAC tape to create a strong seal

Installation of the HVAC tape covering all areas.

Altogether I am pleased with the results of the application. This is my first time applying this material. This installation took me 2 days (2 afternoons) to install. It was easy to install, just time consuming as I wanted to cover the areas well and complete.

My review once the panels were installed ? The interior cabin is quieter, the sound from the JBL Audio system is clearer and richer, and the temperature within has yet to be determined through our upcoming Southern California Summer !!!

    Happy Prius Modding Folks !!!

    Looking sharp as always.
When is your interior going to finished?
Can't wait to see what you have done and how it looks.
I think your Prii will have to be one of the cleanest around and very well put together.

Thanks! Yes I do reside in the 626 area. Hopefully I won't have work that day. I'm trying to look for the HID's low beams you have but I don't see the slim ballast on their site.
