Got a 2010 Prius with 13 miles on it so I know I still have to break it in. I am averaging about 38 miles to the gallon right now. Is that normal?

Averaging 38 is normal for me, but looking for the mpg's to increase when the weather starts to warm up. What are your trips out like? Mine are fairly short so the vehicle rarely gets to run in EV mode.

13 miles on the car?!? Wait for the second tank, when you know the tank was full at the beginning.

EV mode = electric vehicle mode, i.e. anytime you're not using the gas engine.

Way too soon to tell (so don't worry!). If you do want further help, though, responding to cwerdna's post with the newbie questions is the way to go, and people can give you advice off your specific situation. Congratulations on the new car!
